Dear Abbagirls, You played at our wedding on 30th July last, we check in every now and then to see how you are as we cannot believe how fantastic you were and how lovely you are to work with, not to mention your manger who is the best! Hope everything is going really well for you all and we hope to meet again soon. xx
Hi Colin, Kim and Gilda,
Just another one of my regular e-mails to say how much I enjoyed your sets at the Panahar Restaurant and the big one at Aiport House - what great evenings!!!
I really had a great time at Airport House and it was fantastc to see so many people dressed in \'70s and ABBA fancy dress, and one young lady was dressed in the blue \"Waterloo\" costume - those satin knickerbockers and white platform boots just do it for me every time!!! (***keels over***)...
If the young Asian-looking lady dressed in that gorgeous Waterloo outfit is reading this message, please get in touch, as I would like to know where you hired the costume from. For the record, I was the guy with the fiery (!) red hair, loud tie and tight ripped jeans, doing an uncanny impersonation of the great Francis Rossi from Status Quo when \"Rockin\' All Over The World\" was being played.
Also, I wanna say thanks to my great mate Sean the DJ (him and I are Airport House\'s very own \"Smashey and Nicey\". They don\'t call me Mike Smashey for nothing...) LOL
So Gilda and Kim, thanks so much for the great evenings and for the friendships and thanks to Col for being a great mate too and thanks to all those other great guests at Airport House who took the trouble to get into the spirit of the evening by dressing up in \'70s gear (and that DOES include those baggy blue satin knickerbockers and white knee-high platform boots).
See you all again very soon,
Mike Smashey xxx
(Who does a lot of work for chari-dee, but doesn\'t like to talk about it) LOL
We have just seen the best cabaret performance at Panahar Indian restaurant South Croydon, Monday 13th March.
On a cold winter\'s night we were warmed by the best curry in South London and the best cabaret
Kim and Gilda\'s harmonising particularly on \" Summertime City \" was a real treat .
We have booked already for the Abbagirls show on 8th May !
best wishes
Maureen , Helen , Geoff and Ray
